Effortlessly I ran through the heart of forest. The full moon clearly lighted my path and made visible all scurrying animals. I hunted with my pack of wolves. We moved with one goal in mind- to hunt and fill our bellies. Adrenaline pumped through my body urging me to lead the pack. There. A buckdeer so appropriately appeared no less than a league away. Instinctively I steered too its direction and my pack followed. From there I nodded and we scattered evenly across the area to block its path. Seeing no way out the buck came right at me.Admirable but I went right for its throat. My teeth sank in deep. . . . . .
I woke up on a cold floor feeling eeriely out of place. Looking around I saw that I was in a hall stren with either injured or dead people. Slowly I recognized that I was in Konohas Hospital. Or what was left of it. Tiles hung loose from the ceiling. Some areas of the hospital were completely demolished . Fluorescent lights were shattered all over the floor and trash was litteredd everywhere. Worse was that that injured folk were being brought in every other minute with no sign of stopping. The person next to me seemed to be praying.
"Im sorry to interrupt but what happened?" It took great pain for me to form the question.
"Akatsuki" he answered without looking up.
He mustve been mistaken. There was no way a criminal organization couldve dealt such an agonizing blow against the leaf. We hadnt experienced such an attack since Orochimaru's invasion three years ago. However, the people around me kept throwing the name around. No matter I would have a full report once I got to ANBU. If Akatsuki was the case then our fulll resources would be used to snuff them out. When I tried to get up pain spread through my body like lava flowing through mmy veins. Slowly I brought my self to stand and made my way through the corridors. The whole place stunk of death and blood. Children were wailing and some were silently sitting down witth quiet terror showing in their eyes. None of them deserved what had happened to them but it had happened nonetheless. Nurses were coming back and forth attending to the injured.From the distance I glimpsed a pink haired nuse stitching a wound on a shinobi. I was glad to see that there were some were courageous enough to help.
"Get me more bandages!!" The pink haired nurse shouted from across the hall. No doubt she cared.
There was no time for me wander around I had to get to ANBU. Once I found the exit I immediately stepped outside only to be greeted by a gaping wasteland. Every Hokages nightmare had come true for Konoha had been wiped off the map.
