Hey all,
I'm pretty new to Narutobase, but I'd love to hear some of your opinions on how you think Obito is going to die, or if he is even going to die at all! Some theories that I have are:
1. Clearly, Obito and Madara have conflicting interests in this battle. I think that Obito is being a bit reckless, being fueled by emotions and Madara will get to a point where he will not tolerate it anymore. Currently, I think Madara is just using Obito. I think what Madara wants is supreme power, and most likely wants to become the host of the Juubi. I think when the Juubi reaches it's complete form, Madara will backstab Obito and take over as the final main villain in the series. Obito will then finally realize everything Madara told him was a trick in order to use Obito for his own interests. At this point, Obito will try to make good of his mistakes by fighting alongside the Shinobi Alliance. I think ultimately when this happens, Obito is going to die by sacrificing himself to exploit and weaken Madara.
2. Obito will die at the hands of Kakashi. I think Kishi has revealed a lot more of Obito's background, and how Obito has changed since then. Kakashi even blanked out in battle because he couldn't fathom that Obito was alive and behind most of the destruction that is occuring. The Obito he once knew is gone, and Kakashi has to be the one to finish off his friend. It just adds to Kakashi's character and story, and it is logical that he will be the one to kill Obito. Also, Kakashi hasn't had many fights throughout the series, so this will very much add to the finale of the anime in whole.
3. Sasuke goes after Obito. I don't think that Sasuke would appreciate the way Obito is carrying the Uchiha surname. I think possibly, Sasuke will join the Shinobi Alliance due to the fact that he wants to kill Obito and Madara for the acts that led up to the massacre of his family. Ultimately, I think with the help of Sasuke, Obito will die, leaving Madara by himself.
Remember guys, these are just my thoughts and possibilities! I didn't really go much into detail either, so you can post your thoughts/ideas below!
