Profession problems

If you got multiple professions how would you know which field to chose and continue in forever?

For example, if you are good in a lot of things like myself I am a carpenter and very good with woodwork, I also love computers and very good at fixing them (Hardware and software) and I realy enjoy doing both so what would you guys choose 2 do?

I respectfully disagree. I think you should find a career that will allow you to utilize both traits. But, because those are quite different I can't think of one. XD

once u get settled in one, do your best, then find time to work in another one...

In all honesty, my entire family works around computers and fixing them similarly to how you do. So i would side with the Computer Side. HOWEVER, you should go towards whatever you truly want to do. And think of the risks of both before taking any action. Its your choice.

I wanna know what was the outcome of what you chose and if you think it was the right one to choose and also how you got to your favourite profession?

Take one as a hobby and one as a career, I'm sure you might be preferring one over the other, or if not, carefully weigh out the interesting topics, career possibilities, and advantages and disadvantages of both, and come to a conclusion on which to decide from that. It might sound like a lot of work, but what you pick will be important - but don't panic, just calmly think these through, that's what I did.

I enjoy Biology, Chemistry and Art, since they don't exactly go hand in hand, I decided to become a Biochemist, and pursue art as a hobby, I might even end up selling my art pieces in the future!

I suggest you to go with computer stuff coz that pays better IMO, but you can make woodwork for yourself/your acquaintances as a hobby.

Ok thanks for your advice, still not what I am looking for but I guess I am just going to have to choose which one I want to do as a permanent profession.

cant really go wrong, both professions will give u more than enough money to live on. and of course if you join the carpenters union you get all those nice benefits (health insurance, pension when you retire, etc). if you decide to become a commercial carpenter though, be prepared to be not always working with wood. commercial carpenters work a lot with drywall and sheet metal, and perform lots of manual labor (demolition work, digging, heavy lifting, etc)

I am actually capable of doing anything in the building trade besides Plumbing and Electrical work.
