Yes. Think of college as a business, yeah they teach you how to be professional. They keep you that long, to keep your money. Pretty much.

All I know is that when I checked out the University of Alabama, it had bunch of useless big ass buildings that they didn't need. Such a waste of money. And the ****ing books cost shitloads. They're ****ing books, its ridiculous.

There's already options for those having to pay for college to be able to get through (aid, loans, etc.)

Instead of lowering the price, they could focus on raising the bar and actually accepting intelligent ppl as opposed to anyone who applies. That's where most public schools fail at. Stop giving money to idiots who drop out after a semester.

Ppl who can't handle university need to accept that there's nothing wrong with trade school. Electricians, plumbers, etc make a good living

Also, they should focus at getting more students with physical disabilities for the courses that heavily require mental ability.

school should be free. Without school, our country cannot advance. There might be people who has the smarts to change the world, but because of lack of money perhaps, that person will never be able to know what they could have accomplished in their life. And on another note, why should we pay for something that is essential for human survival and advancement?
