Debunking & Explaining | うちはオビト, Uchiha Obito

Introduction:
It has come to my attention, that since it was revealed that 'The Masked Man' otherwise known as Tobi was really Obito Uchiha, there has been an uproar throughout the Naruto community and from this branched out various misconceptions and misunderstandings involving Obito so I have decided to clear up the misconceptions and misunderstandings in this thread.
Why Obito Uchiha is an Antagonist:
Throughout the Naruto Base Community every has come to this strange, simple-minded conclusion that Obito is 'evil' because of the infamous quote - 'Because you let Rin die...' Due to the ignorance of many members of the Naruto Base community, people have perceived this as; Obito is evil because his crush died. This is far from true.
Obito is 'evil' due to his experiences in his childhood and the brainwashing that Madara applied to the young Uchiha. Obito, like Nagato who is a well loved antagonist was a child who lived through war, and possibly a war orphan at that. He has seen death all around him and probably experienced many traumatic incidents throughout his life. Madara could have easily manipulated the young Uchiha as Obito manipulated Nagato - by playing with there ambitions and emotions.
This still doesn't explain why he is evil so we have to go to a 'recent' event - when Obito Uchiha 'died'.
Obito put a lot of trust in Kakashi - here is my Sharingan, now please protect the one I love. Was it truly a hard request to accomplish? Comfort her involving emotions, don't let anybody kill her is all that he asked and that may seem like a lot, but a prodigious ninja with a newly acquired sharingan, it shouldn't be too difficult considering he also has one of the shinobi worlds most powerful ninja as his sensei.
Now then, the next time Obito saw the pair what was happening?
He asked for one thing and it was broken. What was running through Obito's mind when that occurred you may ask - One his famous quote: Those who break the rules are trash, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash! If I'm going to be called trash either way, I'd rather break the rules! And if that somehow makes me anything less than a real shinobi, then I'll crush all of the so-called "real" shinobi! Kakashi did two things that Obito 'died' asking him not to do. The second thing that was running through Obito's mind? Every little thing that Madara told him. How this world is full of trash and in Obito's new enlightened eyes in a literal and not literal sense witnessed. How he could help create a new world where everyone lives in harmony and prosperity - a world with only winners which was in a sense the ideal socialist utopia and could easily been seen as a pro. This is one reason to his change in idealism.
Second we saw this -
From this, you can see multiple things - one, Obito's affection toward Rin. Second, the trauma he felt when Rin died - for one he awakened his Mangekyou Sharingan and the fact he is crying. You could say that Obito cries a lot but that wasn't crying from trauma but crying from a childish form of loss. Obito was shedding some manly tears. But still, Rin didn't have a crush on him back and it wasn't a sister-brother family relationship either so it makes no sense why he turned evil and the hate was acceptable for quite a bit, but now it is not due to another revelation in the manga.

When Obito, an Uchiha, lost Rin, the one he loved, he 'changed' and this is explains why he is so sadistic, manipulative and sometimes acts like the devils incarnation or similar. This is one reason why the argument that says; Well other people didn't go killing people because there loved one(s) died. The second reason is simple - how people react to pain is different to each and every person. For example, Shikamaru and Obito, both of which lost a loved one reacted completely different which was due to many reasons - the environment, intelligence past experience etc.

Conclusion:
People confuse the old Obito, the Obito before his supposed death, and the new Obito due to such huge differences in personality, idealism and there actions but it should be completely understood by now. Obito is an Uchiha who always had a lot of potential like Naruto but also like Naruto, he was a late bloomer. He was able to match Minato at the age of 16-17: Naruto and Sasuke can match some of the strongest ninja at the age of 16 as well so this isn't absurd. Obito is not evil because of Rin's death but due to a variety of reasons which include his personal background, propaganda from Madara, and the unlocking of the darkness of the Uchiha. Also to those who say that wouldn't have happened to Itachi and how Itachi is an Uchiha, therefore my thread is wrong, no - Itachi would have reacted similarly had Sasuke died.
