Can Kakashi cut Kirin?

I do believe that you guys are missing a key piece to this argument.

Kakashi has created that Jutsu designed as a sharp lighting cutter that can essentially "Cut" through anything, the size wouldn't actually matter. The only thing that would matter is the fact that Kakashi Lighting cutter is sharper, thus having the ability to cut through it.

However, i doubt that he can the speed to cut something that is almost instantaneously... Well i say that, although look at the amount of people that can dodge almost instantaneous punches ect ect...

The point still stands, Kirin and a lightning are two different things. It's like cutting a single paper with scissors, and then trying to cut a huge stack of paper with the same scissors. Which version would he use against Kirin ?

My point is that there is a lot of difference between a normal lightning, and a lightning whose attributes have been changed via Ninjutsu. Like you can see on the page someone posted above me, Kakashi's hands were fried by Kakuzu's lightning. He's not getting through Kirin safely.

What ? Kakashi having Raiton does in no way mean that he can take control of Kirin. Sasuke is the one manipulating the jutsu, he's the one using it, Kakashi will not be able to simply take the control away from him like that.

Your point revolves around Kakashi cutting through a normal lightning meaning that he can cut through a lightning who's attributes have been changed so drastically. However, feel free to think what you want, it has become apparent that my posts are apparently not going to change your views on this matter.

How will he even be in a position to cut Kirin? Trying to evade or block it is one thing... trying to cut as it's coming down sounds like suicide.

Yes and No. It is true that kakashi's technique is called lightning cutter famously because he used it to cut a bolt of lighting in half. And it is also true that Kirin is known as the thunder god and is pretty much a giant lighting bolt. But I think we reach a point were we have to say, although it is true that fire evaporates water, it is also true that water squelches fire. And so i think that which ever person put more chakra and power behind the technique would come out on that. But it is possible.
