Nah Jura was countering all of Jellal's moves and had control over the fight but I felt it would have been closer if Ultear didn't interfer.

Itd be close. Jellal's speed wouldnt even matter since Kagura can use gravity shift. Staffs "Staves" v Sword, as much as i like his staffs, her sword would cut through them. So no staff magic either. But Jellal has a much wider range of magic teniques. Hmmmm.
