Can Kakashi cut Kirin?

So recently I saw this question somewhere else and . Gai said that Kakashi cut a lighting bolt with Chidori, thats why its called chidori(yeah its raikiri not chidori). Does that mean he can cut the nearly impossible to dodge Kirin and Kakashi can move that fast?

Kirin and a lightning is not the same. Kirin's power is boosted via Nature Manipulation, which makes it way bigger than normal lightnings. Kakashi can't cut through it.

Doesn't matter how much lightning the raikiri would cut it in half reducing its power.
He can make up for the width by using the lighting chain.

1. He used Raikiri, not Chidori.
2. It's not impossible to dodge. A dying Itachi had enough time to power-up his Susano'o and take the impact.
3. I doubt Kakashi can cut through Kirin. It's not just a normal lightning bolt.
