I`ve seen many threads where they under rate the third saying he`s weak. And they do this with no proof it erks me
So here i am coming to rescue all the Hiruzen fans c:
First of all he was one of the three to be named `god of Shinobi`

Secondly he`s like 70... wth
We all can`t play football when were 70 like when we were 20 years old. There`s a BIG difference. His life force, (chakra) would also be a lot weaker than it was back when he was in his prime

Lastly

Ima let this explain it for you
Although atm in the Manga i doubt it seeing Hashiramas full power, but you never know we have never really seen The Third fight in his strongest state.

+ he was known to have mastered all the leafs jutsus.
Most likely exceptional to Eye jutsu abilities (Byakugan, Sharingan and such)


This is my opinion guys, and i hope no one else bashes the Third cause this guy is hax yo.

P.S i was a really huge fan but i`ve quited down when i saw this ... LOL

The 3rd Databook also never refuted the claims of the previous Two Databooks.

We already knew He was called the strongest and hailed as a God, Kishi has no reason to say it for a 3rd time, But i some peoples cases i guess he does.

It is very true Hiruzen is the source of a lot of character bashing lately, but I think the only way people will be truly convinced he was strong is when we are shown his full capabilities. To be honest, I thought Hashirama was rather weak compared to modern day shinobi, that is until his incredible jutsu blew me away. That's what we have to let happen with hiruzen. People will continue to say "he's all hype" and he was beaten by Orochimaru until we see a jutsu Hiruzen canonically used that will shut the bashers up.

agree but he is below minato.
coz that hype from "in his prime he was said that he is the strongest from konoha ever have."
when was his prime? it is the time when minato wasnt still born. he was called the strongest konoha ever had in his prime.
it was like this
ex. when you are in 1980 the t70 was the most powerful tank in the world we ever had. but that does mean in 1990 is it still the most powerful tank no. m1 abrams is better
