Good day/night fellow NB-members

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a GFX sensei

Fields I'm trying to improve in are:

- All kind of borders
- Smudge
- Chosing the right C4D and blending them in, so that I can add a flow to the sig/avatar
- How to make the best possible use of clipping masks

And if you can teach me more than the summoned things, I wouldn't mind xD

regards in advance

btw: Sorry if this happens to be in the wrong section, didn't know where it had to go ^^

I've noticed that some things you can't learn from tutorials ^^
I'm not ashamed of saying I could use some help.

Contact a GFX Sensai? Dude you're really good at GFXing. You really don't need a Sensai to help you with GFX.

I know I'm not that bad, but I'd like to get better, and I think for that to happen some teaching from a pro would be needed ^^

Hmmm..Actually y can learn a lot of things by yourself...I am an example of a self-tought Gfxer(and so do many of others like BeastBomb,No life King etc.) and i have reached one of the top places of the community:/It really isnt that hard..y just need practice, improvisation and imagination..thats all really...

Maybe you're right, actually the only thing I can't find anything decent on are the different borders.
Thats something I'd really would liked explained >_<

So far as I know those who reach the top are nearly always self taught. I'm self taught too, barely ever even viewed tutorials too lol but that doesn't mean you should do the same. View as many tuts as you can imo. Try to be innovative, don't ever hesitate to expirement.Gfxing comes with practice, it's just some kind of gfxing common sense you develop overtime, even though you can teach people gfxing I believe you cannot simply teach this 'sense' to others, it comes from within. :L
Hopefully you find a sensei but if you don't feel free to drop your works on my profile from time to time, I can't actually be your sensei but I can cnc in detail, tell you where you're going wrong and how to correct it n stuff so you can get better at gfxing. (=

You'll learn a lot more things over time. I used tutorials to get started and they helped a lot, now that I've gotten into my own style I don't really need them, but even so just keep looking at some because there might always be that one step in a tutorial that you may have never knew about and you start using it all the time.

If you need help on c4d stuff I can try to help but I'm not sensei material and I barely give any CnC lol. Anyways, my way of blending c4ds is to choose ones that match with the renders colors OR just pick out some c4ds and just change their HUE to match with the render and use all types of gradient maps. Placement is the tricky part since there's so many ways you can place a c4d but that's something you won't learn a lot about in a tutorial, you gotta learn that yourself. Oh and I prefer cinematic borders :D
