Is there anything easier said than done?
They say white man can't jump. Can this be proven scientifically? If not, what has created this social stereotype?

If you can, give your personal generalization about each continent.
Why are you so awesome????
If you could be reborn with any name, what would it be?

Just thought I'd share...While that's not a question, I'll give it a shot.
North America is a continent with a wide area of climates and environments. It is inhabited by a highly westernized, capitalist people and has one of the largest spheres of influence per capita in the world.
South America is a continent of vast ecological variety and is home to the world's largest river. It's people are afflicted by a great disparate wealth gap, and this, combined with weak government oversight has led the region to be open to organized crime, most notably the drug trade.
Europe is a region of temperate, maritime climate. As compared to the Americas, it is more densely populated with heterogeneously distinct groups of people who, although ethnically distinct, are all westernized in background. They tend to favor socialism more so than capitalism.
Africa is a large continent of highly varied climates and ecosystems. The region has been politically unstable in recent history under a series of authoritarian governments. The region is typically characterized by poverty and agricultural based economies, though there appear to be rich natural resources.
Asia is, as the largest continent, highly variable in climate and environment. The southern section is dominated by China and India, both of which are rapidly growing under industrialization. The Chinese have an interesting economic system rooted in communism that is transitioning over to western style capitalism. The northern portion is dominated by Russia, which, while westernized, has a fairly authoritarian government.
Australia is a continent most noted for its ecosystems which are inhabited by unique flora and fauna. The people are similar to that of Europe and North America in their political philosophy.
Antartica is a large chunk of ice. Also, penguins.
I just don't like the part about Portugal, Spain and France. The others are kinda funny.Just thought I'd share...

On a more serious note...There have been arguments over whether comparisons of the last economic recession, or Great recession that hit the U.S in 2008 and the Great Depression of the 1930's are indeed analogous. As we all are aware of here in NB, the main criticism stems from as to whether or not it was the the incursion of the fed that created the spiraling of the markets in 1930's or whether it was a result of saved capital invested, into securities or stocks. If believing the former, wouldn't it then give credence to the opponents of such comparisons to the Great Depression?

Whitch show is better, The Simpsons or Futurama?
What are your views on interracial couples?
I think that it's not necessarily fair to compare the current recession and the Great Depression. They aren't directly analogous. The Great Depression was caused by the stock market crashing, bank failures, tariffs, and droughts. The definite causes of the recession aren't necessarily pinned down because it's still ongoing, but they include the housing market bubble, the trade deficit, and the fact that the US doesn't really make anything anymore. The key factor in both cases is a lack of governmental oversight. While there are related issues, the root causes are different.
That's a matter of personal preference, but I like Futurama better. The Simpsons have become stale and dated whilst Futurama remains fresh and exciting.
