Nowhere is it stated that Naruto or the Uzumaki are of the Senju lineage thats a fallacy Made up by Senju Fans.

It says "Nagato is of the Senju lineage" here. Naruto and Nagato are both Uzumaki so they are both of the Senju lineage.

Lineage doesn't necessarily mean descendant, it means "kinship" or blood relative, its a generalized term.

The original Japanese word that Zetsu used was "血縁" or Ketsuen which translates as "Blood Relative" NOT 子孫 or Shison which means descendant

Lineage in the English translation when taken into context means blood relative

Lineage is not a generalized term unless you are talking about a general species, lineage's specific meaning is a descendant of a common ancestor who is considered to be the founder of the line.

Oh yes, I like pie.
.

Shison wouldn't be used for 'descendant', the more appropriate translation is offspring.

Ketsuen is better translated as consanguineous, meaning that one shares a common ancestor by blood, blood relative is too general.

That's all well and good but it doesn't change my point that Naruto being of Senju lineage is NOT a falicy but a logical conclusion drawn from manga fact.

The Senjus and Uzumakis were distant blood relatives according to Kushina, if the Uzumakis were descended from Senju then that would make them close/immediate relatives and not distant relatives. If the Uzumakis are not descendants of the present day Senjus but have the same common ancestor (Senju Ancestor) then that would make them a brother/sister clan that would still make them close/immediate relatives, therefore the correct interpretation of Zetsu`s statement in conjunction with Kushina`s would be that the Uzumakis and Senjus are cousin clans

They can easily be distant relatives through a family member of a family member of a family member method.

Even so, if their common direct ancestor is the Younger Son, the coefficient of relationship would still make them close/immediate relatives holistically (Senju-Uzumaki) so it's impossible for the Uzumakis to be descendants of the Senjus, and it's also impossible for them to be a brother/sister clan to the Senjus for that would contradict Kushina's statement of them being distant relatives, so in context of what both Zetsu and Kushina stated, the logical conclusion is that the Senjus and Uzumakis are "cousin clans"

That makes sense for 1 person but not the entire clan. You have to take in consideration that the Senju are descendants of the first son. There could be many clans that have blood ties to the first son's offspring, or offsprings' offspring, ect. However the Senju have the strongest genetic link.

My theory is the uzumaki are a branch family with same roots as Senju

An example of what I mean: say the Young Son had 8 kids. Those 8 had another 8 each with people from a different bloodline. 2/3 of those cousins mate and those offspring become the Senju. The other 1/3 mate withe other bloodlines and become the Uzumaki

Watch there be a plot twist, the sage actually had three sons, Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki.
