I've had this question on my mind from the very start , the Uchiha's DNA would be the easiest to obtain since their bodies were found after the massacre , either Kabuto or orochimaru could have easily got them , if they were revived they might even help Tobi\Madara if they had any hatred towards the leaf .
with just the sharingan they could have done so much and might actually turn the war to their favor , the sharingan copies abilities so they could easily take on some of the big opponents since it's very hard to fight against the sharingan and even harder against the uchiha's gen jutsu .
the way I see it there is a number of possibilities , all of which I am not 100% convinced of :
1- Kishi simply didn't want to deal with the mess of revealing Tobi's identity early .
2- he wants naruto to be the one who saves sasuke and not have sasuke meet his father and mother and be easily convinced , remember they knew itachi was going to kill them and they were fine with it because I think they still love konoha and never wanted it's distruction .
3- Madara and obito's story has a lot of lies and kishi wants to reveal them step by step since Tobi was the one who unleashed the kyuubi on konoha resulting in a chain of events .
4- Madara just brain washed everyone to make them do as he wants .
5- they never died , just transferred by itachi to another dimension .
I am not one of those people who wants uchiha in everything but it only stands to reason Kabuto at least revives the stronger ones like sasuke's father since he was head of the clan , I have the same question about dead members of the Uzumaki clan , isn't it a powerful clan , I am sure the ones who are powerful enough would have made a name for themselves but since we don't know much about them , I'll only ask about the Uchiha .
what is your opinion on the subject , some of my reasons are absolutely ridiculous even to me but that was everything I could come up with
