I'm only comparing the fact that since he was able to escape there is no gravitational pull, their strength does not need to be compared since Kabuto can slip through the cracks of the water. The Gravitational Pull has already been shown to be strong enough to effortlessly pull Hachibi up towards it so if it was there KN8 never would have escaped.

No matter what you can't kill DSM with this jutsu. It will restrain him for sometime. But him liquifying his body will reduce any damage conflicted from the process. And then once the jutsu is complete any thing that DID someone damage will be healed completely. Kabuto can either.

1.) Wait for Pain to release it due to stress.

2.) Use jirobo's (Sound 4 guy) earth release to absorb the core.

Nagato is holding them up. The black orb clearly has two function as we have seen.

Gravitational Pull mode- When the orb is actively pulling the rocks up towards the air.

Standby- When the sphere is simply held together by the orb, nothing more nothing less.

Manga supports this.

Nagato coughs due to overdoing himself and the sphere falls apart.
