Kishi is a genius, his use of the mythology and the way he implemented it into the story, as most mangaka also try to do,
was pretty much flawless.
Most genius Mangaka is and will always be Naoki Urusawa. If you don't know his work, go read it!

Death note was okay, the first half. It just became sad when almost every other character, including the pseudo L, got their own Death Note.

I like kishi, i think naruto is nice and epic anime and manga. I think he is a mega genius, to come up with so many stories and plots and to keep the manga ALIVE.Well yeah, i really dislike people who dont really like a manga writer or manga yet they still waste their time reading something they hate. Doesnt make sense? And lets see you write manga, come back, then tell me how many people said it sucked and naruto was better XD.

Definitely , to make so many characters and to put all their stories in one manga,every action has a reason,and all the back stories ,with feelings and constant twists,i say that is genius...
A. i actually write my own mini manga with my own original story but just to my friends who like manga too
B. i didnt said i didnt liked naruto im saying naruto is good in term of story and creative world but the character development is not as good as death note
C. dont say things you cant be sure 100% they true read what i wrote than come back BAKA

It's a Weekly Shonen manga series, so don't expect it to be such a perfect masterpiece.
Whilst I agree that there are better series available (ones which have alot more time than one week to prepare the next episode/chapter), I still like Naruto and I'm impressed with Kishimoto's work.
