I dunno I think the facts presented in the theory that he was an uzumaki were far stronger than what you stated here. Maybe he is, amybe he isn't; regardless it's all speculation on our part but the other case was presented with way more facts and research so it was more interesting and more probable

Read the manga Obito said that Nagato was from the Senju lineage. Which means Uzumaki comes from Senju. Not the other way around.

Exactly if the sage was an uzamaki then it would have been stated that the uzamaki are distant relatives of both uchihas and senju but it only states they are related to senju ruling out the possibility of both uzamaki and senju decending from uzamaki

It wouldn't be cool, it would mean he started as only specialising in Fuinjutsu when this guy was supposed to be God of all Shinobi techs.

This is the problem, if he was an Uzumaki, he would solely work with seals yet we know that he made good use of the Rinnegan and Yin-Yang.

I understand your point, but again, ruling it out is wrong. Just because it was revealed that Senju are related to Uzumaki doesn't necessarily mean that Uchiha aren't. If the Sage were an Uzumaki, then his sons would be considered descendants of the Uzumaki. Those 2 would, eventually, go on to create their own bloodlines - Uchiha and Senju. We know from Minato that the Senju are related to the Uzumaki but know very little about the Uchiha's past. For this reason, I think it wrong to assume the Uchiha are not related to the Uzumaki since the Uchiha are related to the Senju and the Senju to the Uzumaki.

OT: My opinion on the Uzumaki's stated being related to the Senju's and not the Uchiha's. Lets assume the SOt6P was an Uzumaki. Rikudo Sennin picked the Senju ancestor as his successor. Then the brothers fought with each other. If I was the sage I would have disowned the older son. If a son is disowned from the family do you really think they'd bring up their name when talking about family ties? No they wouldn't.

Also people need to learn that everything stated doesn't have to be true and anything not stated doesn't have to be false.

Could you provide the panel that illustrates Nagato being of Senju lineage? I believe Nagato is of Senju lineage meaning as its predecessor but perhaps the translation I read was somewhat off.

Just because Uzumaki's specialize in seals collectively doesn't mean individuals could be gifted in many other ways.

Also the Sage did SEAL the Juubi inside him, would take a pretty impressive seal to do that. So there's the foreshadowing you're looking for.

This is a generalization, but we've been made to believe that all Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki can trace their heritage to the sage. It would be like comparing a rectangle to a square. A square is a rectangle in addition to being a square but a rectangle is not a square. The sage could be considered a Senju, a Uzumaki and an Uchiha, but they individually were never the same as the sage.
