So somehow Ishhin was 'infected' one way or another by this hollow, which made Ichigo part hollow part Quincy and Shinigami.

And this is probably what Aizen meant "from the beginning" when he said he's known, and plotted Ichigo's story from the beginning, it's obvious he is involved as shown in the last chapter.

so masaki was the last of her family the kurosaki and had a arraigned marriage with the ishida family (uryu's pops) but did not want any part of it, he just wanted masaki to be happy

big similarity ...remember when ichigo first fought kenpachi ...zangetsu came out and helped him ....after fighting his inner hollow zangetsu said he hates the rain. he also said that it only rains when ichigo is sad

now today's chapter we see this arrancer looking hollow( ima just say it ...that's ichigo hollow point blank period) and it only comes out when it rains????? hmmmmm i understand now

one big question was that how ichigo's mom got murked by a grand fisher but defeated the hollow that isshin is fighting?? makes no sense at all....what if masaki is a quincy that aizen experimented on considering that it wasn't working on shinigami quite well , he used quincy and masaki could have easily turned into that hollow we saw ( which looks like an arrancer) trough hollowfication experiments done by aizen and which is why aizen knows everything about ichigo and his powers. also the reason why ichigo got kicked out of training he never used that asochi crap his zankpaktou is pat of his own soul.

Yes that is clearly the hollow that resides in Ichigo... or at least the origin of... we can all agree on that.

Interesting that Ichigo's mother was so closely related to the Isshidas. I'm glad the Bleach lore is getting some juicy backstory finally! It's been one of the things Bleach has been missing, making it feel like a less than substantial universe!

Nice going Kubo... you're redeeming yourself in my eyes.

So Aizen's experimental hollow comes out with the rain. So since Ichigo doesn't have rain powers... yet... Could it be something to do with Aizen's bankai, after all part of it's release did mention the moon reflected in the water? Also, if you think about it, since Ichigo's power is associated with the moon and Aizen's flexibility is, you could say, fluid, it could turn out that Ichigo and Aizen could be far more interlinked then we yet know. This could of been a nice little bit of foreshadowing by Kubo.

here's the best theory I can come up with

I think Aizen hollowfied that zanpakuto which is attacking Isshin as seen in the last page. that hollowfied zanpakuto somehow goes into Isshin's soul and his zanpakuto is modified. later, a part of its soul passed down to Ichigo.

Anyway either way you look at it there's only 2 options really with what could of happened to Maskai now.

1) She lost her powers similar to how Uryu did after his battle with Mayuri and died agaisnt grand fisher, but to me this doesn't make sense one bit since if she had lost her powers she had no way to fight of grand fisher so how she was able to protect Ichigo against a hollow of the capability without powers makes no sense.

2) She's still alive...personally I believe this more than any other theories since the only visual evidence of Masaki dying was from Ichigo's flashback but he was a child back then and didn't understand anything like hollows, shinigami's or Quincies and his perception might have been manipulated not to mention I kind of think there's more to it as well Juhabach proved this to me when he said he would make Ichigo join them perhaps a false body was used in exchange of Masaki (also it's not impossible since there where Quincies that could shape shift) and Isshin and Urahara covered her death up so Soul Society wouldn't get wind of it since Ichigo's life would of been in danger and Isshin would have been found out plus he had 2 daughters to keep safe at the time as well.

Onto the Hollow it's clearly got something to do with Ichigo's Vasto Lorde form however it...only comes out in the rain, now if I'm right didn't Ichigo say it only felt like it was raining after his mother died perhaps she was holding it back somehow and this also makes me ask does the hollow have something to do with what Juhabach said when he mentioned Ichigo being his son born in darkness.

Anyway now onto Zangetsu he obviously knew something now when you think about it like when he said he hated the rain now I guess we can say that it was due to Ichigo's hollow showing up however how come Zangetsu was also part of this hollow was it because Ichigo's soul was part Shinigami and part hollow.

Now onto...Aizen damn, he certainly is a smart one when you look back at the moment Ichigo stepped to out of dangai to fight Aizen, Aizen commented saying you haven't evolved in the way I thought you would have (Or something along those lines) was this some hint towards Aizen being involved with this hollow in some way.

Isshin also seems to have a big part to come as well in the flashback I mean he didn't lose his powers against this hollow nor did he lose them against Aizen, since Aizen had never seen the final getsuga tenshou before so it leads to one conclusion that he lost them against a Quincy...Juhabach most likely and then went into hiding with Masaki with Urahara's help.

Anyway there's still a lot of questions that need to be answered but one by one were finding out more and more.

Aizen creates a vasto lorde of extreme power. Launches it on Ichigo's father.. at the same time Aizen somehow lures Masaki out towards the incident in which it results in her destroying it, protecting Ishiin and falling in love.

There you go, Aizen has created a trascendant-being - Ichigo.

An amazing chapter!

There are other similarities here:

Kyoka Suigetsu, Engetsu and Zangetsu have one thing in common, and that is the word "moon" ("getsu").
Though kyoka suigetsu doesn't seem related to the other two, the two are. Engetsu means "waning moon". That's
a phase of the moon in wich the light part is decreasing, so it's moving towards a Crescent moon, and that's
what Zangetsu means. They just can't be random names. Moreover, the crescent moon is not a phase, but
a moment in the lunar cycle, an apex.

Now let's move on to the hollow. Masaki comes out of nowhere, after supposedly defeating that thing. What if she
didn't? What if Aizen inferfered to help her. Defeating Isshin means that the hollow
had enormous power. Maybe so huge that it could be felt by the others and actually he's related to the rain
the other way round. Captains have limited power in the Human World (1/5, if I recall), remember why? Not to disturb the world. Well,
The rain is just a result here. The hollow's reiatsu is so huge that it destabilizes the athmosphere and that's
why it's raining.

Moving on to Masaki, she has a superficial wound on her left shoulder. That just couldn't be made by the hollow
That thing has 2 huge-ass blades an can shoot cero. Neither of this can actually wound her just enough so blood is spilled.
If the wound was his doing, she probably wouldn't have a left arm anymore.

Now how did the hollow's reiatsu get in her body? It should've been rejected. Masaki also wasn't pregnant at
the time. The answer belongs to a fellow poster from earlier. What if she's actually the hollow? We saw her
crying in her room when the rain started. She may have hollowfied. Ishida's mother said that she's the last of the
Kurosaki family so her parents might've been killed (by Aizen?). She might have been part of Aizen hollowfication
experiments, cause we know they couldn't hollowfy Shinigami, so the Quincy seemed a good alternative. Why not?
Then, for unknown reasons, the transformation reversed. Maybe she just managed to supress it. The rain
didn't stop though.

Well that is more then likely actually and no surprise from the king of trolls just has planed. Last chapter we seen Aizen and his group discussing about the hollowfication experiment that they tested on a few hollows, more then likely that hollow we seen at the end of this chapter is from Aizens hollowfication experiment.

There seems to a lot of people who think that Masaki is the hollow at the end of this chapter. While I do agree that there is a connection between this hollow and Masaki, I don't think she is the hollow.

First off, this hollow has a hole in its chest. Masaki's human body would not be capable of having a hole in her chest as a human body is made of Kishi, not reishi. Ichigo only had a hollow hole when he was in his soul form. Also, everything apart from his actual body dissapears when Ichigo enters back into his body. (example: Zangetsu)

Secondly. there has never been shown a quincy device that could eject their soul from their bodies, niether would they have a need for one. So how Misaki would get one or even have one is beyond me Even Ichigo needed a device in order to eject his soul from his body so he could use his shinigami and hollow powers.

In case that everything I wrote is b***s**t, I just want to say that this is my opinion only.

Im Starting To Believe That Masaki May In-fact Be Alive ... Wouldn't She Have Gone To Soul Society If She Had Died? But iDont Think The Hollow Just Affected Her, iThink It Affected Ishhin Too Because Zangetsu & Engetsu Are Greatly Similar, However ... iThink Ichigo Is Somehow Related To The technique Of Stealing a Bankai. Somehow He Must have Stolen Ishhins Bankai and Gain shinigami Powers at Birth (Accidentaly) That Would Explain Why His could Not Be Sealed Because It Is Stolen. Also, That Would Mean He Never Really Had an Asuchi but just a modified Arrancar type of form with supressed quincy abilities. Therfore He Must "Find HIS soul" In Order to gain his own Shinigami Powers .... Maybe?

Interesting chapter now I know the connection between Ishida's dad and Ichigo's mom and that hollow has to have some kind of connection because of the way it looks

Bleach was easily the best out of the big 3 this week. It's almost like the other 2 didn't even exist. This flashback is getting better each chapter. Hopefully it will answer all of our questions we have had.

Anyway at least this chapter opens the door to potential answers on the questions as to why Ichigo is an all-in-one package of Bleach races. It has been quite unclear where he got his Hollow and Fullbringer powers from.
