Idk if it's part of the Pain Arc, but just all of the Akatsuki fights.

Pein Arc by a landslide.

- Introduced the power of the Rinnegan.

- So much emotion (Narutos reaction to Jiraiya's death)

- Introduction to Sage Mode Naruto.

- Hinata's sacrifice and confession.

- Nagato's motives revealed.


Too much win in this arc IMO. I watch the entire fight all the time.

Pain arc. Reading that the first time I was like. Dude is a bad ass. Takes down Jiraya before going to the Leaf. Takes out most the ninja, destorys the city, and then kills off Kakashi. Up until then I had Kakashi on par with most of them since he took on Hidan and Kakazu mostly on his own, but seeing such ownage was crazy. That entire arc put Pain down as top villan in the series.
