Can an Edo perform Death Reaper Seal??

This might sound like a silly question, but i was thinking.... Can someone, i.e. Minato or 'Sarutobi Sensei' (said in Oros voice) perform the seal?

From what I understand the caster of the Jutsu would usually die as their soul gets dragged into the reaper along with the soul of the person they have cast it on. However that said, lets remember that an Edo is the resurrected soul of a shinobi occupying the body of someone else, so that soul can therefor STILL be dragged back into the DRS jutsu.

I know some people might say the Seal is no longer effective as Orochimaru slashed the reapers belly to free the four Hokages, however lets remember that it is a Jutsu. I am sure it can be cast again. And if it can.... then that means that there are potentially two Edo Hokages capable of using it...


Also before people say 'whats the point' as we now already know how to undo the Jutsu.... let's for arguments sake say that the Uzumaki Shrine... and particularly the mask used in the ritual... are no longer in the equation for whatever reason.

the death reaper takes the soul from the caster and the edo has the person's soul inside of him so yes he can and will end up sealing himself

Well, the ingredients list states only one soul is required to make the I'ma-kill-you dish, and since Edos have that, they can make it.

They can use it but their souls won't comeback. Edo tensei only brings souls from pure world. Not death god belly

It's the same as being sealed by a regular sealing jutsu. Besides the fact that only Orochimaru can get you out.

Lol was thinking along the lines on the seal being used on orochimaru. i was just watching the fight between orochimaru and hiruzen again and i had actually forgotten just how twisted orochimaru really is. he's up to something, but i do think he is pure evil lol i wonder if hiruzen in his edo form would perform the seal on orochimaru Now but this time complete it
