People Love Itachi More Than Sasuke Why?

I am just wondering why people love itachi so much and you rarely hear people like sasuke as they are brothers destined to have powerful sharingans. Is it because itachi sacrificed so much for his village and his brother and got his own powers unlike sasuke who was given the powers or is it because he's a genjutsu master, someone tell me.

Itachi is simply better because:

1. He is more bad ass
2. He is selfless
3. He Gave up everything for His brother/village and yet never held a grudge against them
4. He is a better person than sasuke will ever be
5. He is a better shinobi than sasuke
6. His susanoo had the legendary weapons
7. most importantly, Because i said so.

Because in my opinion. Itachi is the total opposite of Sasuke. Itachi did something for his village and died for something. Meanwhile Sasuke is killing his own village, and is ready to destroy it.

So I can't take Sasuke serious. But after all the fanboys of Itachi there is no way I can take him serious either.
They even write a bible or a holy book about Itachi, they call him 'lord' and 'God' da heck ()

Better stick to Rikudou Sennin, becuase extreme Sasuke fanboys and Itachi fanboys is having a hard time to understand that Rikudou is like their father and he made them troughs clans so this would pretty much more make Rikudou Sennin to the true God then in Naruto lol.

That would be because they formed their own opinions on the matter. I prefer Itachi over Sasuke because hes a verified badass. Not to say Sasuke can't be badass, but that is my opinion.

Because sasuke's been the biggest tool in the tool shed from day one. He even out shined neji, but atleast neji redeemed himself and left the tool shed.

Itachi - killed his parents,his whole clan, became an outlaw and spied the Akatsuki to protect the village
Sasuke - for the sole purpose of gaining power and revenge betrayed his village ,joined orochimaru a known criminal who was also instrumental in 3rd's death
worse than that sakura was also willing to betray the village and join orochimaru just bcos she wanted to be with sasuke-kun

well itachi is badass and people just want someone to hate , technically sasuke is just talk so far and no action and they want someone to hate , that's pretty much it , it's funny how itachi almost destroyed the sharingan to preserve peace , he killed his entire clan which in my opinion wasn't the right choice , I think there could have been many ways to handle the situation other than killing hundreds of innocents just because an idiot ordered him to , personally I still have hope for sasuke , only because I strongly believe naruto's fate is attached to sasuke's fate and if this ends up in some sad ending with people standing in front of grave stones , it would make me one angry reader
