Why did tobi wait to joint he akatsuki until after sasori died and he took sasori's place?
If i remember correctly there can be only 10 main akatsuki members for the 10 fingers on the gedo I think ~_~
So why did tobi wait to join the akatsuki untill after sasori died and why did he take sasori's place.
I counted all the akatsuki members

Konan2
Itachi3
Kisame4
Hidan5
Kakazu6
Zetsu7
sasori8
and Deidara9
excluding tobi of course
Thats only nine.. Orochimaru left the akatsuki before his debut as shown when kabuto was seen working for him along with him not wearing their signature robes even after leaving konoha.

But there was only 9 members instead of the normal 10.
so why did obito replace sasori when he died..... instead of replacing the defected orochimaru.... doesn't make sense..
unless Im missing someone which Im not xd

or does White and black zetsu hold two rings xd or maybe orochimaru still has his akatsuki ring ....​

I think Tobi would make a good partner with anyone. Zetsu is also not the fighting type, its more of a spy. Or tobi was tired of working with zetsu all the time and wanted to work with someone else.

Apart from Oro taking his ring, it was a matter of letting Zetsu stay a scout. We don't know who Zetsu was paired with previously, but after Oro left, Zetsu clearly became a full-time scout and likely was thought to not need a partner. So perhaps they put on the front of not needing someone knew for one of these two reasons.
