Why does Sasuke neglect to improve his basic sharingan abilities?

Sasuke stopped improving as soon as he got his overpowered MS and EMS techs. The sharingan can copy jutsu but Sasuke doesn't really make use of this (which is strange considering the number of fights he constantly picks).
His genjutsu sucks when you compare it to the other Uchihas.
The other basic ability of the sharingan is the ability to read and counter attacks. I can't take Sasuke seriously when he keeps bragging about how superior his eyes are...only to be PUNCHED square in face by Naruto everytime they fight *facepalm* I'm not a Sasuke hater but seriously compare Itachi, Madara and Obito's three tomoe sharingan with Sasuke and there's a huge difference

Most of the Kages had Blood line Jutsus,that why He can't copy them. Raikage armor and lightning attack,Particle jutsu, lava. Do you see what I am saying?

Well if you had EMS and had Susanoo, Amaterasu and Tsukyomi, would you really be focusing on your basic sharingan abilities?
I mean whoever actually lands a hit on him, he just burns to death or just crushes them.

First of all.....

Sharingan can predict moves but what good is it then when your opponent moves at spped faster than u can react?

Secondly....

Sharingan can copy moves but Sasuke needs to have the appropriate skills to use that . . . . Like Sasuke's Lion Barrage was different cos he was physically weaker than Lee at that time..... so Sasuke dont know wind release how can he copy a wind tech?

Sasuke is too young.... no matter what he claims he lacks experience ....

Dude your comparing sasuke to
1. Itachi master of genjutsu [next to shisui]
2. Madara Master over the sharingan in general MS, EMS and Rinnegan
3. Tobi who managed to slip thru rocks with an MS

Sasuke has improved his basic sharingan, when he was fighting those fodder samurai ...sharingan but you can't compare a 16 year old to a 21, how old is obito 35 or something, and a 150 year old . Come on now if you got all this power at 16 would your first thought be " oh let me continuously use this weak base version of sharingan when i have MS and then gain the EMS. True he has and will surpass them but they still have had more time to train and hown their skill and abilities, where as sasuke is just getting rushed with power.

I mean the same can go for naruto, you know, If naruto can now sense negative emotion then finding sasuke should have not been a problem.
