Madara wouldn't be fast enough to react in time don't you remember Lee vs Sasuke? Did you see what KC Lee did to Madara? did you see what 7 gates did to him? and all that is nothing compared to the 8th gate.

I didn't expect many to say Lee can because most of NB are not good with judgement especially when it come to a lower rank ninja vs a higher ranked ninja like Madara but based on what Gai and Lee done to him in the manga already the 8th gate giving power greater than any Kage Le should be able to.

Madara has Susanoo, so he has to have Tsukyomi. All Madara has to honestly do is look at Lee and Lee is done for. Lee would have no way of disrupting his chakra flow or hurt himself, so he has no way of getting out.

The sage didn't defeat the Juubi cause that's just hype. No Looking at Lee is not a easy win you need to look in his eye with will be way to hard at kyuubi chakra 8th gate speed. Lee will speed blitz him or use a distant punch. You stuck on Madara vs Lee (who we haven't seen much of in part 2) and your thinking it part 1 like with 5th gates. Open your mind to the fact this is part 2 which we have not seen much of and how he bisected Madara, and the 8th gate.

I also think you are missing the translation where it says any Kage (which includes Hashirama) and the other translation of surpassing the 5 kage

It says that 8th gate can surpass the level of the 5 Kage, thats it. No where did it say that it is stronger than the 5 Kage combined, which is what it sounds like he is implying.

No matter what you say, currently, Lee cannot beat Madara.

Tsunade damged his susano'o but not his perfect susano'o. His perfect susano'o slashed a mountain and even if the eight gates had the ability to break it it would probably take more than one blow in which madara can use his meteorite technique.
