[Theory] Orochimaru Did Cry For Konoha

I'd have to disagree! This connection was rather obvious, but unlike Sasuke who is a children driven off emotion. Orochimaru is long beyond that, his emotion ties (sadness) had long diminished.

His tears represented actually what he said. In that situation, Orochimaru not only was trying to destroy him home, but the only parent he really knew his entire life and tried to harm him beyond belief. Orochimaru's ties with the leaf were gone at that moment in his life. This is why Orochimaru addressed Sasuke as still being a child who didn't need to know everything, as an adult he know his position and role.

Orochimaru hated the Ninja system that cost Him His parents Life,that why He competed against Minato for the Tittle Hokage. But when He lost He made up His mind to Change the system by other ways,the same way Madara had come up with The Moon Eye Plan by Force. Thats were Orochimaru like Madara started on the wrong Path. You can't force change on anybody it must come from the Hearth by changing peoplesMinds one person at a time with deeds.

It would seem that Orochimaru was indeed crying for Konoha, he didn't tell Hiruzen the truth back then:

It would appear that not everything is as it seems, that Orochimaru had a hidden motive as to why he tried to crush Konoha.

I think it has something to do with his parents:

Then it stands to reason that Sasuke, who parallels Orochimaru, have the same grudge against the leaf.

Their parents' deaths.

I think Orochimaru tried to take vengeance on the Leaf in retribution to his parent's death, it is also logical to assume that Konoha had a hand in his parent's demise, the same way that Konoha had a hand in the Uchiha Massacre.

I agree but I think everything orochimaru does or did is questionable , he could easily be protecting rather than destroying , this is the reason he's one of my favorite character's because there is no telling what will happen with that guy and keep in mind he didn't exactly leave konoha by choice , he was found out ......... so again who knows , he could also just be insane with no motive

Nice one! And yes, I replied once to someone, that IMO maybe he isn't after Konoha at all.. he attacked the village to take revenge on Hiruzen... for wanting to be Hokage, or for something he lacked, or did... and he did create his own sound village...

Still... the snake might changed his attitude a bit as well, being locked away in the blade...
