They could have done better than "that"

Are there any fights or occasions in the manga made you say "c'mon, he/she is better than this!" about a character? This defines situations when characters had the chance for doing something more impressive, but he/she chooses not doing it for a reason or for the sake of the plot.

Some that i can remember:
Sasori took an attack that he could avoid
Deidara and Sasori just get glomped by Sai's ink dudes, they are better than that
Edo Hanzo who soloed legendary sannin get one shotted by a samurai
Kinkaku taken down by Ino-Shika-Cho in mere seconds, didn't he his bro and his squad soloed Tobirama?
Lee in the forest of death, he taken down far too easily for his level, just look at Lee vs Gaara, he could make those sound nins his b**ch easily
Naruto at the valley of the end, he could use summonings; but i guess he wanted to be alone with Sasuke

So, any more from you?

Well, this is irrevelant to the topic, but i also did not understand why he did not get to fight, he would atleast have a decent character development and screentime before his death.
