Nagato's Rinnegan ???

How did he get the Rinnegan ??? What did Obito (Tobi) have to do with Nagato getting the Rinnegan ???
Is it explained in the manga cuz I might have missed it out !

Madara transplanted his Rinnegan into Nagato when he was a child (he did so without the latter knowing). Obito was given the task of grooming Nagato so that he could use the Rinne Tensei no Jutsu to revive Madara at a later date.

but madara was the one who gave nagato the rinnegan
Nagato age > Obito age
obito age = kakashi age
obito and kakashi were almost 13 in 3rd war, nagato was about 10-12 in 2nd war

not only that : madara had given the rinnegan to nagato before he met obito

Madara lost to Hashirama in their final fight, but he managed to steal some of the 1st Hokage's power in the process - he obtained some of his DNA. By transplanting Hashirama's cells into his wounds, and by waiting until his life span was nearly complete, Madara was able to evolve his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan into a pair of Rinnegan.

Your wrong. Obito was informed by Madara that Nagato had it and he had to find him and tell him to join him. Obito did not give them to Nagato. He simply informed him about it.

Madara implanted his Rinnegan into Nagato without the latter noticing (my guess is by a powerful Genjutsu with Sharingan first, implanted Rinnegan, and then snapped Nagato out of it or just ran off). Madara had a spare Sharingan with him to implant into his left eye socket.

I can tell you this. Nagato and Naruto lived parallell lives.

Naruto got the Kyuubi implanted into his stomach when he was a baby. (Maybe the body of Sage) And Nagato got the Rinnegan implanted into his eyes as a baby (The eyes)


When they were older, Kakashi threatend to kill Sakura if Naruto didnt kill Sasuke. But it was not real.


When Nagato was older this happend but in reality.


They were both taught by Jiraya.
