Reason Why Obito didn't Attack konoha when Itachi was still alive!

Obito attacked the village after itachi died and sasuke had already fallen into his trap when he told him the truth about itachi.

itachi is obito's student......why would he want to kill itachi? Obito had no beef with the vilage, he just wanted the ninetails. It was pain's stupid idea to blow up a good portion of the village to find the kyuubi.

i believe Obito did that in cooperating with danzo. Danzo wanted the uchiha gone and danzo made a deal that obito would attack the village with the kyuubi ( because Only uchiha's can control bijuu's) and then the blame would be the uchiha and then the other part of the deal is that Obito (aka Madara) would get his personal revenge on the uchiha with itachi.

itachi can definately beat obito in an alive body...he still has izanami...a loop..dont know if obito knows about it though..
itachi is smart, and he has totsuka,....realistically in narutoverse: itachi can beat minato and obito with the right setup

I think Obito knows about Izanami.. well .. I hope he does since Madara promised him to learn him all about the Sharingan and Youton (lava style) if I remember correctly.

orochimaru worked with danzo to get wood dna form another clan in the manga, so oro could get rinnegan and danzo could get sharingan and control of the village, sound sand attacking the leaf was apart of that plan, i think maybe

he might, but would madara truly trust him, he kinda didnt have a better choice than obito when he showed up in the cave...

that is a plausible theory, why danzo and root didnt help when pein attacked the leaf

no dude wrong again. itachi made a deal with obito to massacre the uchiha. danzo gave him that mission because he thought of them as a danger to the leaf village which they had shown that they were. There was no need to hand them blame because they already were planning to destroy the village. obito agreed because hes so messed up in the head from madaras influence even after madara died

it doesn`t. i`m saying that obito`s cooperating with danzo allowed him to easily kill the uchiha clan with itachi which made it more safer for their plan to work because the uchiha would impose a risk to their plans. So it works both ways.
