Kakashi and Obito not apart of the cycle?

Apparently, Madara's and Hashirama's lives were predeterminded by fate. Same with Naruto and Sasuke. Those two pairings were to naturally occur to continue the clash of the Elder Son and the Younger Son.
Was it fate that Kakashi and Obito met? Would the Great Toad say that they are chosen ones as well?

Sorry, this is like my 4th thread today. It's just that the threads today have been blah. So I feel obligated to provide the base with decent topics of discussion.

Agree with post #2. But a lot of things don't seen like they should be that way. They're usually determined and get the special treatment in their childhood, which Kakashi didn't get.

Hey man, you have the best thread ideas! and yeah i haven't seen very good threads today, but anyways, yes I do think they are. When they were kids Kakashi was the "cool one" like madara and sasuke. And the enthusiastic one was obito, like hashirama and naruto.I think if Obito weren't crushed by a rock and "killed" they would have probably be in the same situation as the other pairs. Kakashi was obviously going down the same road as Madara and Sasuke, having loved ones dying, and refusing to listen to authority was something they all had in common. And of Obito didn't meet Madara he would have been Hokage one day, just like Hashirama and hopefully Naruto.

He was loyal to Konoha, even to a fault. Madara and Sasuke only cared about their clans. His problem with authority was due to his intellect more than anything else. He viewed himself as smarter(and probably was most of the time) than his "authority" figures, and them promoting him to jounin at age 9 or 10 did nothing but back up his cockiness.

But his ideals pre-Obito speech/death are nothing even close to Madara and Sasuke.

Hmm. Well, I can't really argue with that. Though Kakashi didn't have a clan to care for in the first place. The fact that Kakashi wasn't a vengeful person is what made him into the good shinobi he is now. He could've decided to avenge Sakumo because of the villagers' insults are what made him kill himself, but Kakashi chose not to go that route.
