Jiraiya did not know S/T like Tobirama Minato and Obito
Minato said "Madara's" S/T Jutsu surpassed his and Tobirama's. I doubt he was talking about summons (Although the nine tails is beast.)

Technically its not even the same technique and method, the summoning techs used one specific channel in example of cellular phones where everytime you call one number it will specifically reached that number no matter where it is whilst Edo Tensei is some more like a cab service where u gotta call their centre and then directed to your designated area.

Minato's S/T jutsu is Flying Thunder God when he disappears and teleports via his marked Shuriken
Tobirama's S/T and Summoning is the Edo Tensei bringing back the Dead from a place where there is NO TIME (i suppose)

Tobirama name means "Space Between Two Doors" so i thought he might have Door Portals that summon to either part of the battlefield , then he walks in 1 and exits out of another....my guess.....

Someone made a thread about this theory a while back. Problem is, it makes little sense for Minato to compare two people who utilze a totally different form of s/t , to a simple summoning jutsu
