[Theory] Theory that may solve the alleged 'Obito plothole'

I watch a lot of videos on youtube where we get people saying 'Obito is bullshit because how did the rock not kill him ect.'

Well... I think the answer to that is very simple - It must be Kamui, however, some people question this.

Now the mistake that some people make is that Kamui is a MS ability when in reality this hasn't been confirmed, it could be possible that Kamui is an ability that Obito's regular sharingan can perform, and it does it almost subconsciously. It could be compared to Gaara's sand in part one.

You may say that from the Uchiha we know, normal Sharingan can not perform such tasks - however you must remember we only know about four Uchiha ability. It's perfectly possible that Obito's powers are a bit of an enigma. After all, Madara seemed to take a liking to him.

So when the rock began to crush him, he moved out with the Kamui just before he died.


I'm not sure if this is what lots of people say? Please correct me if i'm just being an idiot.

It's possible. Maybe since he never used it before, he mistook the sensation of his body phasing to being crushed. After all, both must probably feel like when your arm or leg falls asleep.

Well sorry to break this to you but it is an MS technique.
Base sharingan only predicts movements and copy jutsus.
Both Kakashi and Obito had to switch to MS to use kamui.The eye pattern was clear.
And I don't find any plot hole since Madara explained how he rescued Obito.

i remember part of his body being replaced by zetsu type clone skin and body so.... crushed!!! Kamui is MS..if not why does Kakashi have it? >.>

If it reacts instinctively, I'd imagine that Kakashi may have been able to use it without achieving MS or going through the trouble of activating his MS to use it. Granted he isn't a natural user so it may be different but the Sharingan evolves to adapt and as a jounin Kakashi has been in enough life-threatening situations for his to react.

Well two things, firstly Kakashi is no way near as experienced as he's not an uchiha, he didn't learn to use MS for a long time, and also i was under the impression that Obito's eye was the warping and Kakashi's was the eye that sent things to the other. Like two sides of one coin?

i am pretty sure obito does it both way, kakashi does it one way.

obito slipped under when MS first awakened(maybe) he has shown he doesnt really know how to use it but still performed the technique wildly while killing mist ninjas

Well it's obvious these rocks didnt reach to Obito in that case we could see the scars like other side. I think Zetsu just safe him in a right time cuz, Kamui is his MS unique move and he unlocked his MS when Rin dies same time with Kakashi. So It's imposible to use kamui in that time. Zetsu took him in someway. About he's using Kamui w/o MS, We didnt see his eyes, some times it goes dark/shadow and it's really fast to change into 3-tomoe to MS. Even, When he controlled Kurama, He used his MS according to Itachi, MS only able to control Kurama. In that time we didn't see his MS too ? So it means you dont have see something sometimes. There's two possibilities, 1. as i said saved by Zetsu. Cuz Zetsu is always wondering around, he's kinda earth himself. Spying for Madara, Maybe sense Obito's Strong chakra (maybe) find him a worthy to save. or they need to raise a kid with zetsu body. 2nd He just lucky and stones didnt reach him cuz he's small enough. Just luck maybe but i dont think that part.

thats what i thought maybe zetsu saved him , and was hiding outside the whole time while obito was sleep, gathering info for madara

When he was fighting Konan, some of the paper bombs went right through him even without using MS
Therefore, Obito can use phasing ability (body transfer no jutsu) with regular sharingan
