I was thinking about doing my own story of Sasuke after his final fight with Naruto- Essentially, Sasuke has changed into a character like Itachi, a hero in the dark. He wanders the countryside destroying threats as they may be. Only Naruto knows he has changed however, and as Sasuke travels he sometimes meets up with old "friends" and enemies that he would have to fight.

To make things more interesting, through some event that I'll come up with later, Sasuke has lost his EMS and MS. He still has 3 tome, but is searching for a way to recover his old visual jutsu so he may contend with a final threat:

OROCHIMARU.

Yes, Orochimaru, through some trickery I'll elaborate on later, not only escaped with Senju DNA, he also has the 4 Hokage still under his Edo Tensei.

The only reason Orochimaru hasn't made a major attack on any villages is because of Hashirama; if he were to summon him and the other Hokages, he would only break it. Orochimaru is searching for a way to increase his own power to be able to fully control Hashirama and the rest of the Hokage to their full strength.

This is just a rough idea. Does anybody like it?

Don't turn Naruto into a werewolf, write somewhat coherently and don't turn the romance into a predictable cliché and violà, your story is better than the vast majority of fanfics.

Yep. It sounds interesting. I don't really understand the point of stripping Sasuke of his EMS/MS and leaving him with only his 3 tomoe. There better be a REALLY, and I mean, REALLY good and legit reason for that. Other than that, Go for it.

My goal is actually to write this whole story without any romance and make the story good. It makes it cheesy.

No, there will be a lot of internal dialouge since Sasuke is wandering alone, occaisionally with an ally.

No, there will be a lot of internal dialouge since Sasuke is wandering alone, occaisionally with an ally.

I'm not a writer, but if that's the case, then Sasuke better have some serious interesting shit going on. Otherwise, people with actual standards will eventually get bored.

Also, if I may suggest, you should try having a woman do something useful. Crazy I know, but I'm adventurous like that.

Ehh, it's alright. I hope there's some real depth to how Sasuke lost his MS/EMS. Also, it doesn't make much sense that Orochimaru doesn't summon the Hokages because of Hashirama's ability to break out of Edo Tensei. Why couldn't Orochimaru just summon Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Minato?
Despite those reasons, I believe the story is good and worthy of being made into a FF.

Orchimaru CAN summon the other three- Hashirama can not be summoned along with them, but the other three can. Thing is, they are such high level shinobi that Orochimaru has to be careful not to slip with them, which was going to be a story in and of itself.

Okay. It's really important for a story to make sense unless it's a comedy or something of the sort. Most people would agree with me.
Also, make sure you get the characters' personalities spot on. Make sure the format is appealing as well, but not too much.
Story-wise, just go with your gut.

You might be able to fit Karin's Uzumaki lineage somewhere in there. Maybe Sasuke's quest will be to gather the Sage's items to prepare for the final battle. By the way I also had Sasuke swear to protect the village from the shadows in my fanfic that I never completed ._.

He's not overpowered at all. No where near it. Well he is a great deal more powerful now with EMS, but he's still not overpowered. I'll tell you what it means to be overpowered.

I meant compared to other shinobi. I see where you are coming from, but let's face it, there are maybe 2-3 ninja that can contend with current Sasuke alive. He needs a nerf so some other battles open up and become more fair.

You're spot on about the romance thing.

Fight scenes would happen maybe once in a 5 part chapter; A lot of the story will be Sasuke searching for a solution to the problem of Orochimaru, and some other side-plots I might throw in.

Sasuke will have plenty of allies and people to create dialouge with.
