He didn't learn anything new except rasengan which isn't enough to beat any of the Sound 4. He would get fodderized by Jirobo alone

This match is really really biased though, But I didn't just want to say Konohamaru on his own. So he can sacrifice them. They can provide support with ninja weapons and shadow clones and things of that short.

If you watched both the anime and the manga you would know they're not cannon.
He only used Ash pile release, the shuriken technique and the tajuu kage bunshin in the movie.
Basically all we've seen from him in shippuden was him taking down one of Pain's path, during that fight he used a shadow clone and a rasengan, that's it.

Obviously not, Naruto movies are the less cannon thing there is. Naruto even died during one of the movie :sy:

I don't remember any movie where he died, but okay. If his techniques weren't in the manga it should say that though.

Sound four wins low difficulty even with Ebisu. They have barely any jutsus and no combat prowess even compared to the likes of part 1 genins during the Chunin exams, let alone the Sasuke Retreival Arc. Also important to note, the Sound four were superior to their opponents and got done in due to reinforcements, bad match ups or due to the lack of seriousness on part of the four.
