Rinnegan and Sharingan

Must of the genjutsu used by the Sharingan is unique to the Sharingan. Since the two eyes are not the same thing, why would they have the same power? genjutsu is just illusions any way, there would be no point in the rinnegan having it.


From what we know the sage of six paths and his eldest son did not have the sharingan, yes with senju DNA its possible for the Sharingan to evolve to the rinnegan but that doesnt mean the rinnegan has to have the same powers other wise it would be pointless

Different eyes, but one comes from another, therefore it's inferior in this case, therefore it cant do everything the other can, but have some powers, and the "another" one should have the powers the other has... You are not understanding my point.

I understand you point, and honestly its a logical point, heck in my earlier post i said the same thing
However since they are different eyes there is no point in them being able to do the same thing because if they could they would be the same eyes. So since there not the same type of eyes they can't have the same type of powers, you cant think of this like an evolutionary thing, we know that the sharingan evolves into the Rinnegan however what we don't is if the original Rinnegan came from a sharingan. Even if the sharingan did stem from the rinnegan its very much possible that it evolved into something different.

So did he create it? Was he born with it? Did he some other eyes then evolve them? That's what i was talking about i know the sage had the first rinnegan.

we don't even know what he looks like, just that he created stuff from nothing, and came witht he jutsus, that were further developed

but it wasn't evolved, i think, it just came from the rinnegan as one of the sons inherited the eye powers.... and if the rinnegan is the ultimate eye, it should be able to do some badass genjutsu
