Deva path can truly solo Itachi...

How can so many people be so naïve. I mean, how would Itachi (of whom i am a fan as well) defeat deva path...I agree he would put a good fight, but Deva path would win mid-diff. Lets see the maths :-

1. Deva path was able to match 5-tails and 6-tails Naruto speed and dodge many of his attacks. I doubt that even someone like Itachi would be able to do so. 4-tails was giving Oro a hard time- he was already sweating. This shows that Deva path is faster and has greater reflexes than Itachi. So unlike Nagato( who is literally handicapped- cannot move), he would be able to dodge Susanoo quite easily.

2. Deva path has sensory skills, greater than that of Itachi's.(Rinnegan can see chakra better than Sharingan).

3. Deva path feels no pain, so even if by some miracle, Amateresu hits him, he would shinra tensei it away, before it destroys his body.

4. Deva path has chakra and stamina many times greater than Itachi's. He destroyed the whole leaf village ( which oro could only dream of) and still would have defeated 6-7 tails Naruto with chikaba tensei, if he wouldn't have transformed, into 8-tails form.

5. Deva path has many ways he could defeat Itachi. He could chikaba tensei him, use almighty push or wait till Itachi is on the verge of death after overusing Susanoo.

So Deva Path will not attack him(Yata mirror becomes useless) and avoid his totsuka blade, being fast and a better sensor of the two should help. He will just wait for Itachi to tire out and die. Itachi has high chance of dying from the overuse of susanoo.( even 5 min.).

- Deva path indeed is strong, and genjutsu would definately not work on him (Rinnegan). So you could be right here

- Sensory skills are great but arent those linked to the materials Nagato used ? Also most of his sensory skills rely on the other paths which pretty much made him strong. Rinnegan indeed surpasses Sharingan but the Deva paths Sensory Skills are actually pretty much compared to Itachi's (without the help of the other Paths)

- How would he be able to deflect flames which never burn out ? Once the body gets hit with it doesnt it eventually just turns to ash? unless he cuts of that particular area of the body

- IF IF IF, Yeah but IF he didn't used Chibaku Tensei he would have died. And Itachi is pretty strong too is he not ? He slayed his ENTIRE CLAN OF UCHIHAS.

- Yeah but, remember the technique Itachi used to seal Orochimaru ? (his Susano'o) Itachi could use it again to seal away the Deva path. So itachi, actually, also has ways of defeating the Deva Path. Itachi was also in poor health after some time so we actually never had to chance to see his full potential. Which we did see of the Deva path.


On some points you're right but on some points you're not. I'm not saying I am right, I could be wrong with what I'm saying.
I admire both the Deva path and Itachi. so theres no favoritism here.

Deva pain would win by making the mini moon (whatever it's called lol). Itachi doesn't have enjoy power to destroy it by himself.
