Naruto arrives home, with Hinata looking out at him. Hinata recently arrived from an ANBU intelligence mission on Hoshigakure, amongst other small villages.
Hinata: Where have you been Naruto-chan?!?
Naruto: I’m sorry Hinata, I would have told you, but I treated my team to dinner. They beat me before 8 o’clock, and that’s a feat in itself.
Hinata: Are they really that good? (She silently forgave him since he treated his team to dinner)
Naruto: They had excellent teamwork, and outstanding jutsu for mere genin. They will be a great team. But I only used three jutsu, so I gave them a little taste of my power.
Hinata(snickering): Of course Naruto-chan, you can’t go too hard on them now.
Naruto: Are you making fun of me?
Hinata (blushing): Just a little…
Naruto(With a grin): Alright then….
Naruto and Hinata end up holding each other and embracing. Authors Note: I will do stuff like conversations between couples, but I won’t get down into the details unless the readers want that
Two days later….
Naruto and Team are at the Hokage Mansion, prepared to receive their fifth mission. Patsuta is a bit nervous, while Fukutsu looks determined. This is the first big mission they’ve had, since completing a bunch of D rank missions. Naruto and gang walk through the door, where Tsunade is waiting patiently.
Tsunade: Welcome Naruto and Team Seven
Naruto: Granny Tsunade, what do ya got for us. The kids really want a good mission. I think they can handle a B or C rank.
Tsunade: When you gave me the reports on their previous missions, I was surprised at the amount of time it took them.
Naruto: Yeah, they are a great bunch of kids. They are all friends, so they get along fantastic. Fukutsu, Patsuta, and Kameha are pretty good at trapping as well. Naruto has a quick flashback about catching a cat that has ran away from its owner. A simple task for Team Seven, completing it in only half an hour. They really know how to use their surroundings.
Team Seven: Thanks Naruto Sensei!
Tsunade: So it seems. Are you three ready for a new type of mission?
Team Seven: Of Course!
Tsunade: Alright. This is a B-Rank mission. You and Team Six will be on a co-op mission, to track down and trap a team of thieves who has stolen important trade documents from a shipment heading to The Hidden Leaf Village. This will be tedious, and if anything gets out of hand, I will send Shikamaru’s Team for backup.
Naruto: Awesome! So team, even though you only have been on D-Rank missions, this will be like your test from me. What time do we leave Grandma Tsunade?
Tsuande (In her usual hands folded over her face): Thirty minutes, we need to catch this guy as quick as possible. You should get bring only what you think you’ll need, as extra will weigh you down.
Naruto: Right, we’ll get on that.
Naruto and Team leave the mansion, rushing to get things prepared. The skies are blue, barely any clouds. So far, a beautiful day. Lady Tsunade is staring out the window, wishing she won’t have to send Shikamaru’s team at all.
Naruto: Hinata-chan, I'm off on a B-Rank mission. If things get out of hand, I just wanted you to know I love you.
Hinata: I'm so happy for you and your team, I love you too Naruto-chan.
Naruto: Awesome. (Smiling) Bye Hinata!
Hinata: Bye!
Around the same time
Fukutsu: Come on Patsuta, we have to go!
Fukutsu is standing outside of Patsuta's house. He is waiting for Patsuta to finish packing. Patsuta is trying to find his lucky kunai, which was given to him by his late grandfather.
Patsuta (under his breath): Found it.... (Loudly) Coming Fukutsu!
Patsuta and Fukutsu meet up with the rest of the team outside Naruto's house
Naruto and Team arrive at the main gate, ready to go. Kiba and Team Six have just shown up; Kibas’ team consists of: Hishi Hyuga (A boy), Shini Aburame (A girl), and Kiba’s cousin Shiga Inuzuka and his dog (A boy). Kiba received this handpicked team of genin from Lady Tsunade, due to his fantastic tracking ability.
Naruto: Hey Kiba, how’s it been?
Kiba is slightly taller, with the same facial features. Akamaru is also slightly bigger and has stopped growing.
Kiba: Pretty good Naruto, looks like we have a mission for our teams.
Naruto: Yea, sounds like a tough one. Did you get anything from Tsunade?
Kiba: Lady Tsunade gave me a piece of the one of the thief’s clothing so we can track him. Ready Akamaru, Shiga, Aomaru?
Akamaru: Woof!
Shiga: Yes!
Aomaru: Ruff! Aomaru is small in size, much like Akamaru when he was younger
Kiba: Alright, let’s go!
