What's The Point Of Fillers?

They don't want the series to end in Japan, so they create fillers to add more episodes..

It's not that they just stop everything else during that time, they're still working on other things, but they're stalling the release. And obviously...they still have to animate the fillers so its not like they really take a break.

I personally think that the war was rushed through. you would think that the edo kage's would be a tag more epic and drawn out. I for one am happy that these fillers consist of battles from the war not shown in the manga

They are rushing the canon stuff like the Mizukage's steam imp which took only like 15 minutes in the anime just so they can get to the filers faster. This is so that they can milk the series as long as possible and make as much money as they can.

To keep the anime from catching up with the manga. Most production companies produce the episodes in advance and generally have an entire arc done before it's even aired. Just look what happened with Bleach it caught up with the manga and the anime got canned.

this episode was actually really good and i think people should see it..its actually really really good.....not boring at all and it looks really good anime wise...it almost looks canon since it aint canon but it looks canon,.
I still wish the 7swordsmen episodes were alot better, and in the manga...darnit

shorter = boring to me. Without fillers having a franchise is impossible. Fillers aren't good to most people cause they focus from the manga and then the anime. IF you watch just the anime.. and not know there is a manga.. fillers = 100% enjoyable.

I mean look at Deathnote.. so short.. led to me being bored of it.
