Danzo betrayed Orochimaru

Think about it for a moment Danzo is the only possible ninja who knew of Orochimaru's lab and experiments. Its likely that Orochimaru was used by Danzo to implant the cells of the 1st hokage into him. Then when the job was done he turned Orichimaru into the third hokage.

Nah danzo and oro were always cool i think. I mean the kabuto flashback, right upto danzo getting shisuis eye and all the other sharingan oro was his main man. also oro was a spy for danzo in akatsuki i think.


Danzo was crossed by or crossed tobi imo and i think itachi was involved but thats another thread altogether

If him and Oro were such bros how come he never let Oro get a Sharingan? Especially after Oro gave him the 1st's cells which would totally be an even trade. I think it's likely Danzo probably went back on his word to Oro for whatever dirty deals they made.

I believe they used each other. I believe that neither of them felt like they were superior to the other in any way. Both just doing things to further their own goals, whatever that may have been. I believe Danzo acknowledges Orochimaru as a threat to Konoha, but not enough to engage him. He didn't fight during Orochimaru's invasion because he wanted the title of Kage after the 3rd died. I think he would have gotten involved if Oro just started slaughtering children, or something. He wasn't a bad guy. He was the guy willing to do the bad things that were absolutely necessary. He became so warped in his own ideals that he made very bad acquaintances, and judgment calls. He started out with good intentions, but he didn't wind up that way. I think he got what he deserved. Trying to save his village, he committed numerous counts of treachery. In his mind, "for the greater good".

I also think Danzo stopped a lot of Orochimaru's plans. Kept close to him to keep an eye on him.

Nah danzo wanted oro to kill hiruzen thinking he'd be the new hokage but they choose jiryaia then he recommended tsunade. Poor danzo.

Poor danzo....Poor Oro he was far smarter then the 4th hokage and probably stronger too its rumored that oro knows 10x the jutsu that kakashi knows

Of course there are things that we do not know. But the things we do know about Danzo is that he firmly believed he was doing the best for the village. Everything he did, as shitty as it was, was an attempt to help. Never for himself. He wanted power, but only to protect his village, and keep the peace. He was incredibly misguided, not evil.

Orochimaru, on the other hand, is the perfect villain. Like the Joker, he just wants to see the world burn. For no particular reasons. He knows what he does is bad, but he doesn't care. He watches out for number one only. People like that are dangerous, and helpful. Danzo saw that. He saw an opportunity to not only keep an eye on the nut job, but to gain power he believed he needed.

Nah hes suspected in the death of the 3rd Hokage. Which becomes more visible when he chose not to help tsunade against pain.

They always worked together, even when Orochimaru left. Thats why Sai got to Oro's hideout without any problems.

Orochimaru is the way he is.. just like Sasuke.. he wants to take revenge on the village because of his parents death. Danzo is a selfish bastard..

I believe Danzo gave Oro the mission of starting the labs but it was one of those mission impossible type of things were if he got caught Danzo would have no knowledge of the matter and not try to bail him out of trouble since the mission was so secretive. Danzo provided the resources as long as Oro made him stronger. Remember Oro was part of ANBU at the time so they had all type of secret missions were if they got caught it was all on them and they to do or say anything that would lead there actions back to the source. Much like Itachi with the Uchia massacre which Danzo also had a hand in.

Nice thread....i have 1 question then..... Why oro whan sasuke body more than the eye??? If oro help to implan uchiha eye to danzo.... Then why he not implan uchiha eye to his body ( white snake )
