[Suggestion] A sticky complaining/nagging/whining thread

I am not trolling. I wouldn't waste my time trolling in the Questions and Suggestions section.

My suggestion has been tested in a much more serious forum I am a member in ( an engineering school's forum (notice my "location") ) and it works wonders. When there is an issue that the members might feel like complain or whine all the time about, (read: exams) a sticky thread is created for that sole purpose.

No insulting should be allowed in this thread. Only nagging or complaining. I know it would be bothersome for the mods but it would maybe help in avoiding all those threads that are made daily with the sole purpose of complaining for something about the manga.

A thread like that could be made for example every time a new chapter is released or an anime episode or whatever. The details are up to the mods/admins if the suggestion is actually implemented.

It may sound ridiculous at first sight I have to admit, but I have seen it work and felt like throwing that idea.

What's there to complain about? The admins try to deliver you a good site, you should be grateful for their hard work. A complaining sticky would be.. Sorry for my language.. Retarted. And on top of that, the amount of complains isn't even that high, when you have a complaint, just PM a staff member. Only the idiots create individual threads for bullshit problems.

Well it is used there for whenever the members feel like posting immature complaints and stuff like that. Pretty much what the "young teenagers" are doing all over the forum.

Of course if such a thread was to be made, then all other threads that are made to complain/whine should be deleted (too much trouble for the mods I know).

Problem is, everyone who cares enough to bitch and moan about something on this site is generally craving attention and needs to create a thread to feel important.

Trust me that thread I am talking about is one of the most (if not the most) popular. You get all the attention you want there but at the same time you are not bothering the rest of the members that don't care about your complaints.

As for the rest of your comment, why don't they? Complaining isn't bad at all. It's just annoying when it is done the wrong way.

Complaining/ranting/etc is inevitable... OP´s recommendation is actually a good one, although, like he said, it would require an extra effort from the mods.

I´ve seen this model in a gaming forum that proved to be quite effective. People only post in this specific thread to complain all sorts of things, be it major ones or minor, otherwise they risk getting banned.

It is used to discuss your favourite ninja and which you think is best

I do, but I also think it wouldn´t hurt to at least try.

In the end, this is something that has to be entrusted more to the community than to the staff, no arguing there.

That won't stop those threads anyway, people always find a way around things. But I' do like the suggestion^^ Also, it will be too much work and mods are busy enough.
