Naruto Storm 3 Tutorial: How to Unlock Characters Quickly

Naruto Storm 3 features 80 playable characters. They can all be unlocked by playing the story mode, but that might take over 10 hours, so what if you want to unlock characters quickly? Well, it’s possible! In less than 20 minutes, you can have all 80, plus their alternate costumes! Saiyan Island has created a tutorial on how to unlock characters in Naruto Storm 3 quickly:

Go to Free battle and select VS Battle
Select 1P vs 2P and then Single Match
Select Suigetsu or Ino for Player 1. You can select anybody for player 2
Select a ring out stage, preferably Hidden Rain Upper
As soon as the match begins, instant awaken and fire off the character’s jutsu (Chakra + Attack)
Select rematch and repeat the steps until 1,000,000 ryo is reached

If you executed this correctly, you should be about knock out your opponent from the stage within 10 seconds and gain a bit over 12,000 ryo each time you do this.

Again, just stand in one place, instant awakened, and fire off your jutsu. All it takes is for the jutsu to be executed four times to knock the opponent from the ring. You should get a first move win bonus, awakening bonus, and ring out bonus which amass to a bit over 12,000 ryo each time. If you just got the game, you are starting with zero ryo which means it will take 84 matches (1,000,000 / 12,000 = 83.333). Time wise, that’s around 15-20 minutes.

If you want the alternate costume for Sasuke, Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, it might take a little longer, as 1,500,000 ryo are required to get him.

Below is a list of ryo needed for each character. This includes in-game alternate costumes. Note: Most of the characters can be unlocked from the start if you have a Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations save on your PS3 or Xbox 360. We hope this helps!

How do you unlock EMS Sasuke in story?

You collect "chakra chards" during a mission you receive from a talking frog thing. You find it on your way to the hokage mansion, and you receive a "frog stone". Your goal is to collect 5000 chards to turn the frog rainbow coloured. Each chard is worth 20 points. You can collect them in about 30 mins. Then you unlock a little side quest featuring EMS Sasuke.
