Minato's nature affinity: A hint from KISHI

Guys, chapter 618 p.2! The Hokages with their affinities. Do you think that Minato has water or wind element based on this scan?

Look carefully. Hashi with his wood jutsu, Hiruzen using earth and both Minato and Tobirama on water. Do you think it's an indication that Minato has water jutsu? What do you think?

No. The 1st 3 hokages with their element shown. It's an indication that Minato MAY have water element. I'm not saying he have but are we going to rule out this possibility? I'm asking to know the opinion of others.

Remember that they are not limited to just one element. A jonin level can have 2 at least. I wonder why Kishi would draw that with the other Hokages having their respective element and not Minato.

Okay, First of all, Almost ALL Shinobi can walk on water. This isn't anything new. So, I don't know why your assuming Minato knows Water-Style all of a sudden.

Second of all, Minato has the WIND-STYLE element. Why? The Rasengan Jutsu requires a ninja who has the Wind Style element, Which Minato always performs during his battles. There is no evidence that he knows any other Element what-so-ever, Besides wind.

Second of all, Minato has the WIND-STYLE element. Why? The Rasengan Jutsu requires a ninja who has the Wind Style element. There is no evidence that he knows any other Element what-so-ever, Besides wind.

Actually, Rasengan doesn't have any element affinity, its just chakra manipulation. Its taking it to the next level (ex. rasenshuriken) that requires mixing an element.
People that could perform rasengan: Minato, Naruto, Jiraiya, and Kakashi.... and we know kakashi didn't have wind affinity.

As I've said...please check you facts..rasengan does not require a wind base chakra. Rasengan is not an elemental jutsu..wind rasengan is but rasengan is not..

Regarding the picture, it could be a fanmade that's why I'm asking everyone's opinion but it's only a matter of time that his element will be revealed and by that time you will believe why a HINT is necessary to analyze things. Coming first from me, I consider that a HINT...soon we will know who is right and who is dumb enough not to see something very clearly...

I think it may actually be possible.
In a few cases, Kishi has already shown links between the name of a person to his/her personal fighting styles, personalities or physical attributes. For instance: Inuzuka Kiba (犬塚 キバ), Inu (犬) means 'dog'. Orochimaru (大蛇丸), Orochi (大蛇) means 'giant snake'. Akimichi Chouji (秋道チョウジ), Chou (チョウ) or perhaps (蝶) means 'butterfly'.

Minato's surname is Namikaze.
Nami (波) means 'waves' ('water') and Kaze (風) means 'wind'. I think it may mean that Minato may come from a small clan that in which its members possess an affinity towards either one or both of them but whether or not Minato uses them often in his fights, that's a different case.
