How strong was KONAN and who could she beat?

she was the 2nd most powerful Female Ninja Known (Tsunade is 1st)

she could also hold her own against most of the Akatsuki (she could propably beat Hidan, Zetsu, and maybe Deidara)

But in all seriousness, she's a strong character. It made me pretty mad when Obito escaped from her without a scratch. . .he could have at least lost an arm, or something. I think she could probably beat Kakashi, if it weren't for Plot No Jutsu (the fans demand Kakashi be alive). That should give you a good idea of who else she could take on

That is like saying without the Rinnegan, those two Konoha fodder who killed Nagato's parents could have killed Nagato - Nagato is almost always Top 5 and for certain Top 10 material - so are those fodders ALSO Top 10...?

i guess he would have died there if not for the rinnegan, if not for the activation there he would not have survived past that, evolving any other abilities giving him the place in the top 10?

Hmm...I think Konan is pretty strong, and she could beat all of Konoha's jounin and stuff...maybe even some top tier characters. But, I think she needs prep time and info to do this (which isn't too out of the question, since she's that type who can collect information). She's got a good range of attacks, even up to really powerful like what we saw against Obito. I think she is maybe the strongest female character in the series other than Tsunade.

Yeah...makes me sad too. Konan was really unique in my opinion overall: she looked cool, her ability with paper was just awesome, and her development, from good to (somewhat) evil and then back again I felt was interesting.

If she knew about Iznagi, Obito would probably be dead. She is certainly in the top 25.

I don't care how much prep time she had; 600 billion paper bombs.. it's a stupidly high number. If you narrow it down it's probably like hundreds of papers generated (per second) from the day she was born to get that many. But aside from that her paper jutsu is pretty powerful; you need specific jutsu to take her down unless you're somehow able to tire her out.
