How does Izuna and Tobirama know each other

Except they both suck, Manga panda rushes and *********** purposely butches up the translation for the sake of trying to add personality in the dialog.

This, Meekz89. I actually usually read both translations cos reading the chapter once isn't enough of a fix for me each week. I haven't been able to this week cos I've had some computer issues. But that's exactly the issue with *********** and mangapanda. They both have their weaknesses, but each also has its' strengths over the other.

I read both as well. I read mangapanda like twice then I read the chapter on *********** like three times. In between smoking couple joints.

Japanese + Romaji:
1: 考えることは同じようですね・・・ (kangaeru koto wa onaji you desu ne...)
2: 千手仏間 (senju butsuma)
3: それと扉間だったか (sore to tobirama datta ka)
4: ・・・のようだな / うちはタジマ (...no you da na / uchiha tajima)
5: それからイズナだな (sore kara izuna da na)

Literal translation:
1: It seems we were thinking the same thing...
2: Senju Butsuma
3: And Tobirama, was it?
4: ...it seems so, / Uchiha Tajima
5: And you're Izuna, right?

So there we go. ***********'s translator obviously took some liberties with the translation.

Ok I posted a more in-depth reply before, and it said waiting for moderator approval like 4 hours ago :/ So lemme try again.

I looked up the raw and they both say something along the lines of "and you're...Tobirama, was it?" and "and you're Izuna, right?" so the *********** translator was taking some liberties when he was translating. They've never met (at least on a name-basis) before

They do not know each other. The translations from mangapanda and *********** are different, but neither is perfect. Mangapanda is more of a direct translation, so it is better in that way, but *********** attempts to use vernacular that English speakers can relate too, so they are good in that way.

In respect to Tobirama and Izuna knowing each other, what they said in the original Japanese is as follows.

Madara's father: It seems we were thinking the same thing... Senju Butsuma.
Izuna: And Tobirama (as in, " and Tobirama, I believe it was" or "and Tobirama, huh")

Hashirama's father: So it seems... Uchiha Tajima.
Tobirama: And Izuna. (as in "And you must be Izuna" or "and Izuna, huh")

Basically, they are saying almost the same thing, but in different ways. I don't think that they are personally acquainted, but are aware of each other through the intel gathered on each other's clan. Also, Madara's father seems to be using a mockingly polite tone when he speaks. He may have a personality mixed between Madara's adult one, and perhaps Orochimaru.
