Jiraya beating Itachi and Kisame at once?

We all know that in part one, itachi himself admitted that Kisame and him would only be able to match Jiraya at their best. However, seeing all of Itachi's techniques it seems hard to believe that Jiraya could have counters for Itachi's strongest genjutsu or Susano. Regarding Amaterasu, perhaps in sage mode Jiraya can bypass that but yea.

Does anyone actually think Jiraya could beat them two or be matched by them or would Jiraya simply lose?

Anyways, I've got my own reasons for thinking that jiriaya could take itachi or kisame down.

I also agree. With how strong itachi really is and what's been revealed to us about his abilities, there is very few people I see him losing too, much less without a scratch and/or with kisame at his side.
