Looking for a new anime to watch

First, I really like animes like death note and code geass. Well I wouldn't mind watching a TV show like dexter either, I loved it.
Secondly, I like shounen like Bleach, Naruto, Highschool dxd, highschool of the dead, etc but the animation should be good, that's one reason I'm not watching one piece even though the story is great.
Suggest any good animes/tv shows?

Regarding psychological stuff: I don't have any anime on mind (alike to Code Geass or Death Note), but I'd suggest you to read the Liar Game manga or Eternal Sabbath.

FMA B follows the storyline of the manga closer than FMA...you don't actually have to watch the FMA...

You can if you want but the thing is FMA doesnt follow the manga as much as FMA:B
and all around brotherhood is better.
but if you want you can watch both just so you can compare the two to see the difference
