Knowing the elements for each Jutsu

Apparently, according to Kakashi he explained that all jutsus are part of one of the five basic elements, however which jutsu is one that u have a hard time figuring out which element it comes from?

I assume that Nara Clan's shadow technique is maybe earth style? That's an example.

Edit: Sorry OP, I misread your original post

I believe the Shadow Clone technique is a pure chakra technique. Just like the basic rasengan is just pure chakra. These pure chakra techniques can be performed by anyone regardless of their chakra affinity.
