Ive read the books. Never liked the movies. After the second read through I found everything abit too forced and pulled out of nowhere with the logic. So no, I'm not a fan but I can discuss the topic.

The books are absolutely fantastic, and they'll always be a cherished part of my childhood. The movies, to me, weren't even remotely good until the fifth one, and then they were decent. I think it's just difficult to have compelling child actors.

but i didn't really like the movies much though they left a lot out of the movies
