Orochimaru & Madara

Which one of them is more intelligent and ethical?? This is not a versus thread , it's a comparison of their IQ, ethics, their plans, etc...

They are considered villains, but all very smart. They both have their ideals, and are very hard to kill, and with some awesome jutsus!

Orochimaru wants to be immortal and learn all the jutsus, and doesn't care about how many lives he'd get rid off to achieve is goals. Madara wants to create an infinite gentjutsu, where apparently it would be a "good place", but then would remove all freedom and free will of the shinobi world.

Both of them also managed to get, should I say, followers that are loyal and very helpful

Yeah it's hard to say, I would say Madara is more ethical because he doesn't kill that much, but then he wants to take the freedom of everyone, orochimaru kills a lot... About their plans I think Madara is better than oro, and in a fight it's really hard to say because as you said both of them may play around and that

I am not comparing their skills and that if they were fighting, I guess you're just playing, but I'm sure you know the meaning of "versus" too

Both are intelligent in their own right: Orochimaru has developed tons of high-level (albeit forbidden) jutsu, as well as learning and perfecting existing ones. Madara was able to create a plan where he would be resurrected in some form (ultimately as a human, not as an edo) years after his death. Madara also had arguably the most knowledge of the ninja world, both during his time, and before, as well as existing jutsu (evidenced in his knowledge of jutsu during his fight with the Kage). Don't even think it is possible to considering Orochimaru as ethical, and while he has formidable knowledge/plans, Madara has shown more drive and has been more effective, in my opinion.

you sir have put alot of effort into this. I think Oro May be stronger than madara though(non edo madara) just on the fact weve yet to see him a full strenth in a fight he was taking seriously

Is Orochimaru even intelligent? Studying jutsu all day does not make someone intelligent (anyone in heavy AP classes?). Developing techniques does display a degree of intelligence I guess, but still not significant amounts of it. Also Orochimaru is extremely unethical (seems pretty obvious). So Madara (haven't witnessed real demonstration of his intelligence either though)

Look at him, was killed twice, and he's still alive, so his smart, also learn many jutsus and techiniques and create nice plans, but I agree with the unethical bit

Also Edo tensei is a factor. can an edo use reaper death seal in that case Oro wins if they fought
