It shows on the manga page that Kakashi fell near to Rin's legs which means he fainted after killing her. Now either Zetsu did it with a high level genjutsu help from Madara or it is true.

Even I don't think Kakashi killed Rin.

Agreed. He didn't.:heh:

No. It was real.
But we'll get an explanation, I'm 80% sure Rin was a spy.

There's something fishy about the whole situation, and I really don't know what Kishimoto is waiting on to finally reveal what actually happened. Maybe Obito will eventually question Kakashi about it when he is near death or something. Or perhaps, if Madara is somehow to blame for her death, he will tell Obito what he really did if he ever turns on him.

The ninja that were trying to get Rin said something about experimental bodies. They wanted Rin's body for some reason. That is probably somehow related to the reason why Kakashi killed her.

Sure Obito will know the truth later.

Kakashi never said he killed her, he blames himself for not being able to protect Rin.
Don't think Kakashi just killed his comrade because of her experimental body.

Oh I agree, I don't see Kakashi killing her without a really damn good reason. But the problem with the whole "It was a genjutsu" or "It was actually Zetsu transformed" theories is that In that chapter you see Kakashi crying while he is killing Rin and you see his mangekyo awaken along with Obito's. If it was a Zetsu transformation I don't think the transformation is so dead on that it would mimic a mangekyo being awakened.

I know, I read that Chapter many times so that I can understand why.
As you said, we don't know whether the transformation can mimic MS or not.
And I doubt that if the real Kakashi were there with Rin. He fell down on his face so its a bit hard to tell for me.

I think it was neither genjutsu nor a clone but whatever led him to kill her was a setup.

That's what I'm thinking as both the genjutsu and Zetsu theories don't seem believable enough to me. Among the two I would lean more towards the Zetsu theory but I have serious doubts with it. I'm pretty sure that it was the actual Kakashi who killed Rin with Raikiri, the content of the chapter doesn't make me think otherwise.

All we really have to go on, in my opinion, is the bit about experimental bodies, which doesn't tell us much, though it may lend credence to the Zetsu theory because in a way he is an "experimental body" since he is a living being who is a weird plant person created from Hashirama's DNA.

I just wonder, what is that? It's not Kakashi's arm or? When you see that picture, you believe it's a Zetsu killing her. But if it was a Zetsu, why didn't Kakashi explain himself and why isn't Rin still alive? So she did die there and he must have killed her. Typical Kishi confusion.

Obito wasn't even there to see Kakashi & Rin on the page you provided.

why didn't Kakashi explain himself and why isn't Rin still alive?

Obito didn't give Kakashi time to explain & Rin is dead as I said...

Nah,Zetsu??And how about the mangekyu?
Kakashi did it.And he was aware of it.He was crying. That's why he didn't try to explain to Obito. He knows it's his fault.

A white zetsu clone may be able to clone the user down to the chakra level, but the clone cannot copy the exact emotional level on the person white zetsu has cloned.

If a clone stabbed Rin, it wouldn't have cried.

It was Kakashi who killed Rin! Kakashi was emotional because he realized he killed his teammate. So he started crying.

There is one other thing, kakashi's sharingan is not part of his oringinal DNA structure, So im wondering if white zetsu did clone kakashi, im not sure he would get the Sharingan part!

Simple fact

Pretty sure rin was a spy if some sort. I'm 100% sure they will explain the specifics before the end of the obito.

I mean we saw both of their MS activate so I don't think anything happened, maybe he wasn't in control of his movements. I personally think she had intel on Konoha so they wanted to capture her and Kakashi needed to keep the intel safe so he killed her.

Theory 1
Maybe kakashi really was under a genjutsu or something. Why did he even faint afterwards?

Kakashi maybe doesn't know that he 'killed rin' and that's why he hasn't brought it up in the war yet. All obito said was 'you let rin die.' Not, you killed rin. so kakashi might not know that's what he's thinking.

Maybe we'll see obito say something along the lines of "Why did you have to kill rin?!?!" while near death and crying and then kakashi will spring to action asking him wtf he's talking about.

Theory 2
Maybe kakashi was under a genjutsu and rin was disguised as the enemy. After he attacked, the genjutsu was broken and he saw his hand through rin's chest and that's why he was crying.

We can gather that kakashi really had a hard time killing rin though. He had a very sound reason for it in the end.

It could also be that being under a gentjutsu she managed to break free for a second and asked Kakashi to kill her so she wouldn't attack him or be taken to get info from her. She could have died to protect the village and Kakashi himself.
