[Discussion] A possible way to get a stolen bankai back

What do you think Byakuya will do after he is done healing in that hot spring? My guess is, he'll be going to Nimaya who'll throw him into the Asauchi pit where he will do something about his stolen bankai. After all, it's not the same thing as a broken bankai, so it should be easier (well... at least not impossible) to get it back. Then all the captains who lost their bankai will be taken to Soul King's Palace and voila!

The Quincy STOLE their Bankai. How do you fix or restore something that you don't even have anymore?

In fact, it's not even as simple as people make it out to be. It's not just the Bankai that the Quincy stole. Hitsugaya's reaction suggests that it was the entire zanpaktou:

After the Quincy steals Hitsugaya's Bankai Hitsugaya couldn't communicate with Hyourinmaru anymore. He couldn't even feel his presence. Hyourinmaru was gone.

If I were to guess I don't think Ouetsu can do anything about a stole Bankai/zanpaktou. It'll be up to Urahara to devise a solution. I agree with Okami. I think if you can get your hands on the Quincy medallion that stole the Bankai then you can get it back

The guy that stole his bankai was killed by Yamamoto the thing he stole it with Probly was also destroyed by the flames aswell so I don't kno where his bankai is at.

I also believe that's why Ichigo's Zanpaktou can't be stolen...because Zangetsu isn't with him anymore.

Yeah I think your right. you can't bring back something that simply isn't there TO bring back.

On a side note, I don't know if a shinigami can use those quincy medallions, let alone take their bankai's back from them. But Ichigo 'should' now be able to use them. I will be wierd if we see Ichigo get a hold of one of those medallions and use a bankai that isn't his own.

A way to get it? huh that is pretty easy: kick the ass(maybe even kill) of the one that has stolen their bankai! All the captains who had their bankais stolen just have to surpass their own limits
