Kimimaro (healthy) vs Guy (or any taijutsu specialist, or anyone tbh)

I don't think Kimimaro can be beaten by taijutsu. Off the top of my head I can't think of any situation in which he'd lose to any taijutsu (and maybe even a good amount of ninjutsu) ever. Give me an intriguing argument

Whilst Kimimaro has a good chance of surviving Hirudora, Might Guy wouldn't need to open the seventh gate to win.
Guy's best bet is to open just six of the gates, and use Asa Kujaku. Kimimaro has no resistance to being set aflame.

How do we know that though? After Gaara's 1st sand burial you could clearly see the flesh was all gone from the side of his mouth and some of his chest I think. Maybe he'd just become like a walking mass of bones lol. I'm not trying to seem like a Kimimaro fanboy (even though he's like one of my personal favorites I guess), I just can see how he might be indestructible.....

Ok I guess that does seem unreasonable, and even so, no eyes = no win. If only he could've survived though, so much potential. Sadly, aside from Guy, taijutsu specialists seem pretty irrelevant. Much respect to Guy though for still being a really strong character

Yo don't compare Guy to Kimimaro.

His strength, speed and stamina are all superior which is what really matters in this fight.

Hell I'd say CURRENT BASE Guy stands a chance. Open 6 gates and he stomps.

False. Kimimaro barely had to activate first stage and was never injured. I have seen the naivety of my question though...Another question: how come no one else tries (or maybe even knows how) to open any of the Eight Gates? I think opening at least the first two could be so useful in battle
